Three simple and easy-to-implement things you can do each day that will change your life:

Starting these three simple and easy-to-implement habits today will have an enormous positive effect on your everyday life, do them each and every day, and within 2-3 weeks the positive impact will be so apparent you will wonder why you didn’t start earlier!

 

1.      One thing that brings you joy.    (Self-Love)


2.      One thing that lightens your load.  (Self-Care)


3.      One thing that gets you out of your comfort zone. (Self-Growth)


Self-love, self-care and self-growth are three things that we all must find time for if we are going to live a life we love and become the best version of ourselves. Adding them in this way takes the pressure of finding/making lots of time every day. Add one small act of Self-love, self-care and self-growth each day and with practice, it will become easier for you to add bigger and more time-consuming ones later down the line.



 

No 1. One thing that brings you joy.    (Self-Love)


Doing one thing that brings you joy each day is a great way of showing yourself how much you value and love the authentic version of you.   We all have things we love to do, things that make us smile from the inside. For some it may be a walk in the park or on the beach, it may be to buy yourself some flowers to brighten up your room, a bubble bath, a coffee and a spot of people-watching, yoga, running, taking your shoes off and feeling the grass under your feet, turning your music up loud and dancing round the room… These are the things that we need to make time for. Our batteries are recharged, and our cup is refilled each time we make time for the things that make us happy and bring is joy. Love yourself enough that you make the time to bring yourself joy and spend time each day doing the things you love to do.


 


No 2. One thing that lightens your load.  (Self-Care)


Taking one thing out of your physical or mental “too hard basket” and completing it, will lighten your load. Whether it’s an email you’ve not yet responded to, a phone call you’ve been putting off, a household chore you’ve been avoiding, fixing something, paying something, cleaning up your inbox etc. When we put things off, even if we think we aren’t thinking about them, they are always there, waiting for us to “tick them off the to-do list”. Once we have done them, the load actually gets (and feels) lighter. Care for yourself enough that you want to lighten you own load and relieve stress.


 


No 3. One thing that gets you out of your comfort zone. (Self-Growth)


Getting out of your comfort zone can sound overwhelming… because we normally associate it with something big, like a life or career change. But it doesn’t need to be a huge gesture, changing one small thing like ordering a different coffee, sandwich filling, dinner or desert is trying something new. You could even sit in a different chair in front of the TV (most of us are creatures of habit and sit in the same chair). Park in a different part of the car park, take a different route to work, read a different genre of book or watch a different genre of movie. Try anything new, however small or big the change, new is new, change is change and new things and change = growth. Value yourself so much that you allow yourself to grow and learn.



 

Doing one of each of these things each day will help to alleviate stress, calm anxiety and help you to grow into the person you want (know yourself) to be.

 

Without growth we stay stuck where we are… without self-care we let ourselves go, without self-love, we are just going through the motions… day after day, same – same, nothing new.

 

Bring self-love, self-care and self-growth into your life with these three simple daily prompts and feel the difference within the first week!
